Consiglio Direttivo SISCo

Riunione del 21 novembre 2022

Nella riunione del 21 novembre 2022, il Consiglio Direttivo della SISCo ha deliberato quanto segue:

  • è approvato il Bilancio Preventivo 2023;
  • la prossima Assemblea Generale si terrà giovedì 26 gennaio 2023 nella Sede di via Eudossiana 18, presso “La Sapienza” – Università di Roma.

Il Presidente ed il Consiglio Direttivo della SISCo sono lieti ed orgogliosi di comunicare un ulteriore prestigioso traguardo conseguito da un componente della nostra comunità.

Il dott. Antonino Iannuzzo, già Senior Lecturer presso la Swinburne University of Technology di Melbourne, è risultato vincitore della edizione 2020 della Borsa Rita Levi Montalcini, posizionandosi primo nella graduatoria relativa alle macroaree 08-09 e ottenendo il secondo budget assoluto per importo complessivo.

Grazie a questo riconoscimento, il Dipartimento di Ingegneria e il Consiglio di Amministrazione dell’Università degli Studi del Sannio di Benevento hanno completato le procedure necessarie per la sua chiamata e il dottor Iannuzzo ha preso servizio, in qualità di RTDB “Rita Levi Montalcini” nel SSD “Scienza delle Costruzioni”, nell’Università degli Studi del Sannio dove svolgerà il progetto di ricerca risultato vincitore.

Al dott. Iannuzzo giungano le nostre più calorose congratulazioni per il finanziamento ricevuto che dà ulteriore lustro alla nostra comunità.

The Research Training Group “Mineral-bonded composites for enhanced structural impact safety” (GRK 2250), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), is offering twelve positions starting from May 1, 2023, subject to resources being available, as

limited until April 30, 2026. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz – WissZeitVG). The position aims at obtaining further academic qualification (e.g. PhD).

GRK 2250 Call for 3rd Cohort

Save the Date: 27-30 August and Join us at the Engineering Mechanics Institute International Conference 2023 (EMI IC 2023)—the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) international annual mechanics conference. This conference will be hosted at University of Palermo, Italy, with organization led by Professors Massimo Midiri and Antonina Pirrotta

 The conference will provide a forum for researchers and practitioners, where the fundamental and applied advances in engineering mechanics will be on display. At the conference, learn about the latest discoveries in the field of engineering mechanics, disseminate your own contributions at topical sessions,  listen to distinguished plenary lecturers and participate in discussions, panels and networking events to advance engineering mechanics education, research and practice. 

But more, support all PHD students attending the special junior sessions where the chairs will be young researcher and speakers Ph D Students, only.

The master is linked to the Erasmus+ KA220 project UCCRN_edu – Climate Resilient Design, Planning and Governance of Cities, and offers a series of international mobility and traineeship opportunities. More info can be found here .

The deadline is quite tight (9 December 2022) since the master is expected to start on January 16th 2023, but the application procedure is extremely simple.
